A FEP/PFA encapsulated O-ring seal is a high-performance composite sealing element that features a structure design of 'outer fluoropolymer coating (FEP or PFA) + inner elastomer core'. It combines the advantages of both fluoropolymer materials and the inner elastomer core. Its key feature is its superior chemical resistance; the outer fluoropolymer coating can resist erosion from most chemical media, except for molten alkali metals and certain fluorine compounds. The inner core typically uses materials like fluoroelastomer or silicone rubber, ensuring the O-ring has excellent elasticity and sealing recovery, effectively compensating for gaps in the sealing surface to prevent leakage.
